I couldn't do it! In fact, when I was in university I couldn't even go to school and knit! In order for me to write I need to have a calm and rested and focused mind - not something I ever remember having while also carrying a full course load and working to pay my tuition and of course maintaining my university social life! I love love love that sock yarn! So happy and bright! Perfect during the mess of Springtime. (BTW, having been there and done that "giving birth" thing, I can tell you - very good analogy of citing the spring melt as being akin to the messiness of birth!) (Shhhhhh don't tell her I said that!) As for the TV, while much of our society uses it to "relax" I believe it to be an energy draining passtime of near rest, posing as utter rest that in reality, only sleep and peace and quiet can actually provide.
