I received an unusual request this morning from a family member, one that left me a little confused and a bit melancholy for the rest of the day. It’s a request to help in web site creation, and I’m hoping to be able to use the power of the knitting community to support it. I promise it’s for a good cause. I’ll tell you more about it when it’s live, though as I just got the request today it probably will be a while. I have finals and things to finish before I get home and can get working on it. Oh my gosh I’ve got a ton of stuff to do in my short three week break, and a ton of family members are coming to visit me before I leave in January, so I’ll not only have errands to run and this to help out with but people to hang out with and play games with and enjoy their company.
I think it might be my best Christmas season ever, so I’m not complaining about that at all.
I’ve been really sick the last few days, which is an awful time to be sick. It’s finals week and I just can’t concentrate at all. Plus, we’ve been bombarded with snow and I hate not being able to go out and play in it while it snows. I have also received the advice to buy more sudafed and take it with me on my plane on Thursday so that I don’t have to deal with stuffy ears and nose on the plane. At least I am well enough to walk to the drug store now. The problem with not having a family to rely on? When you’re sick and can’t really move from bed and out of sudafed someone will volunteer to go get it. My parents are asking me if I don’t want to transfer somewhere closer to home and Rebee is bribing me with the fact that she’d get me sudafed to transfer to her school. Ha. Tempting arguments, actually…
Oh no! I’m sorry. I hope you’ll get better soon. I know it’s such a pain to be sick when you’re nowhere near people who can really take care of you while your sick. Oh and good luck with finals!
Go Christmas~~~!!!!
I can’t wait until school is over so I can really enjoy the season!
I hope you feel better soon – always hard to be sick and away from people that will take care of you. Good luck with finals!
