I mentioned yesterday that I am fighting off a cold. Still am, drinking lots of water, trying many different throat lozenges and not moving far from my bed today. I’ve finished reading Note to Self, started reading Americans’ Favorite Poems, then went on to look through my collection of knitting magazines. After that I got on the computer and decided to sort through my Ravelry queue.
I wish it were easier to knit while going through all of this, because I am SO inspired. There are sweaters and socks and mittens and hats I want to knit. And first Baudelaire, which is also really, really fun. Sock knitting is fun. I just have to remember to abandon a pattern when it’s not fun.
Problem: Not enough money/time for sweaters. :( Although at the same time, I can hardly imagine wearing sweaters because I can’t imagine it getting cold again… but it will. Oh it will, when I get back to Minnesota. I’m just not thinking about spring semester is the problem. I liked it so much in Europe. They didn’t actually get to the level of Minnesota cold.
I hope you are feeling better – and it is hard to knit in the heat – hope you find your mojo soon!
Feel better soon!
Hope you’re feeling better! Enjoy the sun and the knitting — even if no sweaters get started.
Aww well if you lived closer to make I’d make you chicken noodle soup… or actually, aren’t you vegetarian? I’d make you vegetarian noodle soup! Anyway, I hope you’re feeling a lot better by now :)
