No on Prop. 8

I think this is fairly important. I don’t think I have (m)any Californian readers, but if you’re from California—please vote no on proposition 8. (And the one about parental notification for abortion. That’s a no too.)

At Green Bean Dreams, there’s a post entitled, “A Fairytale for Everyone?” It’s a letter trying to explain what gay people are really like—and it’s not what those supporting Prop 8 try to claim. I’d encourage everyone to read it.

Yeah, No on 8. Absentee/mail ballot here, already sent mine in. No on 8, and no parental notification for abortion. I remember those two, but I can’t remember any of the others.

Sorry, dear. I don’t live in California =(
And I can’t even vote because I’m not a citizen yet (stupid long citizenship process!) But I will pass the word.

  3. Hi, sorry, I am no on 8 (obviously – I live in Canada instead of California just for this reason) – I can vote nationally but no longer considered a California resident (odd how 9 years in the UK does that).

But the reason I came over is SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS SO I CAN SEND A POSTCARD. You made your choice, and I am saying, whether it is burden to me is MY choice! Please don’t take MY choice away, if it gets to much, I will send you an email saying, “the next postcard will be delayed as I am having some down time” – You want mail, I specifically WANT to send mail to people who want mail. You are important to me, and I want to send you mail – will you please do this favor to a poor cripple (notice how quickly I revert to the playing the crip card lol!). Seriously, I want mail and will continue to haunt you like Hamlet’s father (but with less of the “Kill your mother”) until you please let me send you a postcard. Just a small one? With like girl/girl kissing stickers on it? I’ll even give you my address so it is even’s?

I don’t know what proposition 8 is, but I PROMISE I will vote no.
