While at the grocery store last weekend:
Me1: I might as well buy the pocket tissues. I can leave 2 of the 6 here as a replacement for the ones I used last weekend being half-sick that belonged to my hostess.
Me2: But you won’t need them, you use handkerchiefs!
Me1: Yeah, but I don’t when I get sick, and maybe I’ll get sick again in the next four months and need them.
Me2: All right, I guess you can take them…
Fast forward to today:
Me: …
Me: HOW HAVE I FINISHED ALL OF THE TISSUES ALREADY?! ALL SIX PACKETS OF THEM????
Me: *sighs and decides that she needs to try to leave the apartment at least once today, because she also needs food and medicine because she is SICK*
Yeah, it’s been a great last couple of days. Wish I could breathe better. On the bright side, I found a manga* online about a girl whose dream is to bake the best desserts ever, and have been quite enjoying reading it. Totally combining recent obsessions into something I can do while sick in bed. :) Yay.
* americanized translation: graphic novel.
D:
Stop being sick!
I swear, germs are traveling through the intranets tubes now!
I’M SORRY I GOT YOU SICK! Even though we are half a world apart.
…
Wow that sounds really impressive. Half a world away…
My brain has debates with itself sometimes too. Like you, it especially does so when I am about to purchase something I don’t need, do something I don’t normally do, or when I am on the brink of procrastination.
And tissue will ALWAYS prove handy sometime or the other. It’s good to keep a stock! ;)
